Gaming Influence: Thoughts - Sonic Central - September 24, 2024

Hello everyone, 

Welcome to Gaming Influence, a reboot of the same name I created in WrestleCorp. However, I will not only be giving my thoughts on certain video games and video game series but also on video game movies, video game anime, video game digital presentations, etc.

I'll give my thoughts on the Sonic Central on September 24, 2024, for this edition of Gaming Influence.

Anyway, let's get started!

For those who are wondering, what is Sonic Central? Sonic Central is a digital presentation of Sonic the Hedgehog, including video games, mobile games, movies, TV shows, merchandise, and more. This Sonic Central edition will discuss what's happening to Sonic the Hedgehog this year.

Anyway, let's get to it!

Sonic X Shadow Generations is a platformer developed by Sonic Team and published by Sega. The game is set to be released on Switch, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and PC, on October 25, 2024.

Oh my god! What an amazing trailer for this game, especially with the Shadow content, which I didn't expect them to do. The fact that they're adding more backstory to Shadow is awesome with the addition of Mariah and so forth. I really didn't expect Sega to go hard with this extra content for Shadow with this game, but I'm all for it. This is a game to definitely replay and I'm excited to play the new content with Shadow as a whole. Looking forward to replaying this game with the new content with Shadow when it comes out next month.

Overall, this was a good presentation from Sega. I would say that this presentation for Sonic Central is a lot better than in past years. Granted, even though there isn't a lot on the video game side of Sonic, what they have with everything else with Sonic is great including collaborations such as Legos and DC is awesome. Plus, that new trailer for Sonic x Shadow Generations is incredible. Sonic the Hedgehog continues to be a mainstream icon around the globe, and we'll see what's next for Sonic the Hedgehog next year.
